I’m off to Donald Maas’s Writing the Breakout Novel weekend workshop in Albequerque. I’m not sure if I’ll have Internet access but if I do, I’ll post about the activities. You can find more about Donald Maas and links to his books and agency on the November 2 post earlier this week.
With everything I had to do yesterday, I confess I did not get any writing done on Whirlpool, my Nanowrimo book. (See earlier posts this week and last week for more information.) But there is the plane ride this afternoon and the whole weekend devoted to writing Whirlpool so I’m comfortable with not writing yesterday. I will write today and begin the catch. I’m trying to average a minimum of 1,500 words per day-about 5 pages.
Those of you who are writing for NaNoWriMo or Writers Digest Short Story contests, let me know how you’re doing.
