Another day closer to Christmas and the holiday fever increases. I’m very happy I’m finished with the shopping. I received a Christmas gift early last night when my California writer-friend, Deb, called and said was coming down and could I pick her up Tuesday, tomorrow, evening at the airport. I’m SURE we’ll get losts of writing done.
I received the newspaper tear sheets for the article that featured my NaNoWriMo efforts and this blog. You can also read the article online but watch out for the error in paragraphing that occurred online. The newspaper article itself reads fine. And of course, you can read of my exploits on the Whirlpool blog.
Copies of DIVIDED LOYALTIES will be available at Borders Books and Music–The Fountains at 281.240.2666 starting Wednesday. You can stop buy and pick the book up as it’s in stock or you can call and they can send it to you.
There are a couple of significant events coming up–meaning my booksignings–during the weekend of December 18-19.
On Saturday, December 18 from noon to 2:00 pm or later
I’ll be at Borders Books and Music–The Fountains in Stafford for a signing. I spent four years at Borders as a community relations coordinator so this should be a fun afternoon. I hope all my Sugar Land friends will stop by and say hello–and anyone else who has a mind to.
On Sunday, December 19 from noon on into the evening
I’ll be at A Celtic Christmas Festival with fellow author Cornelia Amiri. The festival is in downtown Houston across from the George R. Brown Convention Center. I’ll be there to sign DIVIDED LOYALTIES and my first travel book, Exploring Houston with Children. Cornelia will be there in complete Celtic garb to sign her latest book, DANGER IS SWEET, and her other books.
