Writing tidbits

Poynter Online is an interesting website, and Roy Peter Clark’s article on mapping the writer’s process has some good reminders for all of us. Finding the focus or finding what the piece is really about is something that takes time and practice. That’s one reason why new writers are told to write every day. Since this entry is #50, Clark’s articles ought to provide you with some solid reading time.

Since just about everyone thinks they have a book inside them, Para Publishing provides an article that allows would-be writers and tentative book authors an opportunity to take a flight of fancy and really imagine the process from start to finish.

And for you lazy writers, well, Language Log and Agrophilia talk about the need for a lazy writer cliche kit.
