Dewey Read-a-thon continues with Beyond Blogging

This entry is part 4 of 32 in the series Read-a-thon

When the clock struck one I closed the book and put TETHERED: A Novel by Amy MacKinnon away. From the opening sentence I was swept into a unique landscape populated with some really interesting characters, especially the protagonist. I couldn’t put the book down. This is saying something because the book is not only first person but present tense, two elements that generally mean I put the book down in a matter of minutes. Kudos to the author. Great read.

Now it’s on to the third selection. Sticking to the alternating fiction, nonfiction selection, the third book is BEYOND BLOGGING: The Secrets to Blogging Success. The book landed on my doorstep earlier this week and was on my to-do list for weekend reading anyway, so this is a two-fer. I’m ticking of another to-do and adding my third book to the 24-hour read-a-thon. I’m hoping to breeze through this one and be ready to select my fourth book by 3 AM central. Let’s see if that happens.

Book #3 Starting now Beyond Blogging: The Secrets to Blogging Success (Volume 1)
Book #2 Tethered: A Novel
Book #1 Today Matters: 12 Daily Practices to Guarantee Tomorrow’s Success (Maxwell, John C).

Wow, you are doing great. Nice progress since the last time I checked in. I am curious about this blogging book you are just starting now. Wonder if it would interest me.

Can’t wait to see what you pick to read next!

Thanks, Kate. What a great thing to find when I checked my blog. Hit the spot in the midst of books 3 and 4.

Hey Megan, Thanks! I’m pretty pleased with my progress. Just wish I’d started on time. As for Beyond Blogging, I guess it depends on if you have plans on developing a blog into something more than a hobby or a personal blog. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking, revamping and remodeling so I wanted to get a feel on what some of the more successful bloggers have been doing.
