Weekend Writing Finds – Superlative words, a snazzy voice, and a superfluity of digital book news

This entry is part 2 of 10 in the series Weekend Writing Finds

A writer's notebook

Things have been a bit quiet around here but I still managed to gather a few items of interest I’d like to share. This is a new weekly feature where I post information about books, writing, publishing and writers.

Here’s some good web stuff I found.

 Articles and websites for writers

Digital Book World – Interesting site that is dedicated to all the publishing news that impacts electronic publishing.

George Plimpton’s Voice – What exactly does a writer’s voice say? Read what the son says about the father.

40 of the Best Websites for Young Writers – The World Wide Web offers a multitude of places for young writers or any writer to get a little help now and then.

This week’s book find

Better Than Great: A Plenitudinous Compendium of Wallopingly Fresh Superlatives

That’s it for this week. All week long I gather bits and notes and finds about reading, writing, books, the writing process, the writing life and writers. Come back next week for more.

To find more links and shares, go to the Down the Writer’s Path Facebook Fan Page. Be sure and let me know what you like and don’t like in the comments below.

I had fun reading Better Than Great and keep it handy for dipping into for inspiration. Sure makes my usual adjectives look pretty lame after I see his suggestions.  I even made a lens about the book and his earlier one.
