Gathering books for Dewey Readathon

This entry is part 11 of 32 in the series Read-a-thon

Readathons are good ways to keep the book habit

Dewey Readathon 2014 springThe Dewey 24-hour Readathon is in full swing, so it’s time for me to post my books. This one nearly swept by without me as I only discovered it was on today sometime late last night.

My books for today’s Dewey readathon

Since I’m participating in the year-long read of St. Augustine’s City of God, that title is definitely included. No, I don’t plan to finish it but I do plan to turn the page a few more times.

I’m also in the middle of reading Kristen Lamb’s Rise of the Machines: Human Authors in a Digital World and do plan to finish that one during this readathon. After that I’m not sure which way I’m going to turn. Maybe a little fiction, maybe a little more nonfiction. Check back later today and I’ll let you know.

I also won’t be sitting here for the full 24 hours reading as I do plan to go out and hit the bookstore in the early afternoon.

So what are you reading this weekend? Are you going to participate in today’s 24-hour Dewey Readathon? It’s never too late to start.
